Canada Student Visa – Eligibility

  • AGE: There is no defined upper age limit, but first-time applicants have better visa approval chances
  • QUALIFICATION: 12″/Diploma (10+3, 10+2+3)/All Bachelor/All Master degree holders. Percentage & backlog requirement.
  • EXPERIENCE (IF APPLICABLE): Max. up to 5-10 years of academic gap can be accepted with genuine work experience.
  • ACCEPTED LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY SCORES: IELTS (Academic), TOEFL-iBT, PTE (Academic), CAEL, CELPIP General, TEF.
  • COLLEGE FEES: $15,000-$35,000 Canada p.a. Tuition fees can be paid for one semester or the first academic year.
  • PROCESSING TIME: 6-8 weeks or higher, depending upon the quality of the application and overall application volume.
  • PROOF OF FUNDS: Proof of the availability of funds can be demonstrated with at least one of the following: Proof of a Canadian bank account in the student’s name if the student has transferred money to Canada; GIC; Proof of a student or an education loan from a bank; Bank statements for the past 4 months; A bank draft that can be converted into Canadian dollars; Proof of the payment of tuition and housing fees; A letter from the person or school giving money to the student; Proof of funding paid from within Canada if the student has received the scholarship or is in a Canadian-funded educational program.
